  • FL Department of Health – Design, develop and implement data integration solutions with the Cloverleaf Integration Broker.
  • Athanasy, Inc – Linux Migration and General Support: Migrate desktop/laptop computer systems from Windows to Linux and support Linux installation.
  • GrootTrek.com – Website Design and Hosting: Design, develop and host company website and mail servers using Sendmail, Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP.
  • Navigator-Interactive.com – Hosting and Application Development: Design and develop .NET Windows Forms Application and .NET Web Service for tracking dental practice metrics. Host company website and mail servers using IIS, ASP.NET, Sendmail, Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP.
  • MapDotNet: Architect and implement advanced ASP.NET Server Controls for use with ESRI ArcIMS and ArcSDE. The server controls are developed using C#, Web Services, the Visual Studio 2003 API, and ARCXML. A sample application can be viewed at http://demo.mapdotnet.com. The server controls allow a developer to create web enabled, cross browser, GIS applications using feature rich drag and drop components.
  • SWFWMD – Generic Viewer: Analyze, design and develop reusable ASP.NET GIS web application using ASP.NET, ADO.NET, MapDotNet, Oracle 9i, UML modeling, and C#. This application will serve as a framework for all future GIS applications in the SWFWMD (South-west Florida Water Management District).
  • SWFWMD – DDS: Project Manager and Developer of Data Extraction Windows Service and ASP.NET Management Interface using ArcObjects, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, MapDotNet, Oracle 9i, UML modeling, and C#. The application allows configuration of GIS data extracts for distribution on the Internet.
  • SWFWMD – DDI: Project Manager and Developer of ASP.NET GIS data disbursement website using ASP.NET, ADO.NET, MapDotNet, Oracle 9i, UML modeling, and C#. This application is a cross-browser compatible public website for the distribution of GIS data to the public on the Internet.
  • FMRI – Blueways: Project Manager and Developer of ASP.NET GIS website using MapDotNet, ASP.NET, UML modeling, and C#. This application is the framework for the new FMRI (Florida Marine Research Institute) Blueways public website for the distribution of the marine related information to the public.

  • FL Department of Health - Security and Encryption: Develop encryption method around GnuPG (PGP compatible open source solution). Develop bash and expect deployment scrips to deploy the GnuPG solution to over 80 sites.
  • FL Department of Health – HIPPA Billing: Develop Cloverleaf file mover library and translations that will be used by DOH program area software for formatting of HIPAA X12 Medicaid billing.
  • FL Department of Health – Small Pox Vaccination: Developed ASP.NET website for tracking and reporting Smallpox vaccinations in the State of Florida.
  • FL Department of Health – Small Pox Vaccination: Developed Cloverleaf data integration interface for acquiring, translating, and publishing of Small Pox data captured in the Florida SHOTS (immunization registry) to the Division of Epidemiology in a SQL Server database.
  • FL Department of Health – Small Pox Vaccination: Developed Cloverleaf data integration interface for acquiring, translating, and publishing of Small Pox data captured in the Florida SHOTS (immunization registry) to the CDC in a defined XML format.
  • FL Department of Health – Electronic Lab Reporting: Implementation of Electronic Lab Reporting with Cloverleaf to accept Lab data from multiple sources (both state and private labs), filter the data for diseases our accepting applications track, route and translate the lab data for each DOH program area that needs the lab data and provide notifications based on disease or severity to DOH program staff as part of the DOH Bio-terrorism response and NEDSS initiatives.
  • FL Department of Health – Active Integration Service (XML-RPC): Analysis and development of a platform independent web service based upon open standards to be used by new software developed for the DOH in order to implement active integration with the DOH Enterprise Master Person Index. The web service will provide XML-RPC access to the Madison Aligndex API.
  • FL Department of Health – EMPI/Integration Broker: Worked to implement the Enterprise Master Person Index (an index of clients the DOH servers populated from disparate systems and linked via probabilistic matching) with the Madison Aligndex EMPI product and pilot data integration with the Quovadx Cloverleaf Integration Broker.
  • FL Department of Insurance - MyDOI: Responsible for design, implementation, and tuning of an Oracle data warehouse for a department portal. Tasked with building relationships between data from disparate databases and creating a mechanism to refresh the warehouse data nightly.
  • FL Department of Education – FCAT Change Control: Tasked with the evaluation, recommendation, implementation, and support of the StarTeam change management system for the FCAT Explorer project that is made up of more than 20,000 files.
  • FL Department of Education – FCAT Data Center: Responsible for the design, implementation, performance testing, and support of the FCAT Explorer.com production data center which handles in excess of one half million hits per weekday.
  • TeachInFlorida – Teacher Recruiting: Served as DBA and ASP Programmer for the TeachInFlorida.com website. Responsible for the design, development and implementation of the database and website.
  • Docs-Depot – eCommerce: Tasked with the design, and development of the eCommerce features of the DocsDepot.com website.
  • FL Florida Department of Health – Environmental Health: Participated in statewide JADs to re-engineer business processes and develop software specifications for the Division of Environmental Health (DEH), a 6-month project. Re-engineered business processes, created business models and extensive documentation, and designed the proposed DEH database.
  • FL Florida Department of Health – Change Control: Responsible for creating implementation plans and training material for the StarTeam change management system of the Division of Information Resource Management (IRM).
  • FL Florida Department of Health – Enterprise Modeling Tools: Participated in enterprise modeling tool research for the Division of Information Resource Management (IRM). The research matched three out of the four upper right quadrant modeling tools as determined by the Garter Group.
  • Florida Parole Commission – Advanced Parole: Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of a data transformation tool used to convert mainframe data into a relational model.


Advanced Technologies and Engineering

  • Responsible for full life cycle ISO-9001 and DO178B military standard software engineering including project management, requirements, design, acceptance testing, configuration and support; software development for real-time systems on PC and embedded level, simulators, communications, database data storage and graphics.
  • Project management on defense industry systems, including the implementation of a Serial I/0 class for Windows NT 4.0 with emphasis on real-time capabilities.
  • Design and implementation of various Windows 95 and NT based test and debugging tools utilizing the multi threaded capabilities, critical sections, mutex’s semaphores, pipes TCP/IP and serial communications drivers with specific emphasis on attaining real-time specifications.
