- Bureau of Laboratories – BOLIMS Integration (9/2003-Present) - Design and development of the Bureau of Laboratories LIMS system currently under development. Creating HL7 based interfaces for lab request and result delivery. Guaranteed delivery, translation, content based routing and content-based alerts are some of the functionality developed using TCL and the Quovadx QDXi (formerly Cloverleaf) v. 3.8.1.
- Department of Health – HIPPA Billing (6/2002-9/2003) - Develop a HIPAA compliant enterprise integration solution for DOH Medicaid billing. Including the implementation of a secure encryption solution, and the development of X12 translations that will be used by DOH program area
- Department of Health – Small Pox Vaccination Adverse Reaction(6/2002-9/2003) - Developed data integration interface for acquiring, translating, and publishing of Small Pox Adverse Reaction data captured in the Florida SHOTS (immunization registry) to the Bureau of Epidemiology.
- Department of Health – Electronic Lab Reporting (3/2002-9/2003) - Implementation of Electronic Lab Reporting to accept Lab data from multiple sources (both state and private labs), filter the data for diseases our accepting applications track, route and translate the lab data for each DOH program area that needs the lab data and provide notifications based on disease or severity to DOH program staff as part of the DOH Bio-terrorism response and NEDSS initiatives.
- Department of Health – Active Integration Service (XML-RPC) (6/2002-8/2002) - Analysis and development of a platform independent web service based upon open standards to be used by new software developed for the DOH in order to implement active integration with the DOH Enterprise Master Person Index. The web service will provide XML-RPC access to the Madison Aligndex API.
- Department of Health – Data Integration - EMPI/Integration Broker (3/2000-6/2001) - Selection and Implementation of software tools to build an Enterprise Master Person Index (an index of clients the DOH servers populated from disparate systems and linked via probabilistic matching), and support application-to-application data integration of legacy applications. Worked to implement the EMPI with the Madison Aligndex EMPI product and pilot data integration with the Quovadx Cloverleaf Integration Broker.
- Department of Health – Data Administration (3/2000-6/2001) - The purpose of the IHIS (Integrated Health Information System) Data Administration program was to analyze and develop a foundation for data integration (data standards, common data dictionary, procurement of EAI tools) across the enterprise while performing a market scan and cost-benefit analysis of Software Development Modeling Tools (the recommendation of Rational Software Suites was made in 6/2000) followed by the procurement, configuration, and administration of the appropriate tools.
- Division of Environmental Health (DEH) (2/2000) - Research/analysis of the availability of environmental health information systems that meet the DEH's business system requirements.
- Division of Environmental Health (DEH) (6/1999 – 1/2000) - Analysis of the DEH business processes utilizing the Joint Application Development Methodology. Responsibilities included business process analysis, extensive documentation, leading joint application development sessions, implementing a web application to facilitate information collection from 67 Florida counties, budget planning, financial assessment, creation of an entity relational diagram for the DEH business system, facilitation of client communication and interaction, and project status reporting.
